HOME OF ATHENS SCUBA
Athens Scuba is based in Athens, Georgia, home of the University of Georgia and the Georgia Bulldogs.
All pool training is completed at Oconee Aquatics and Recreation, just south of Athens, right off Highway 441, in Watkinsville. This amazing pool facility, serving the community since 2007, is the perfect scuba diving teaching spot. It features 2 inside and 2 outside pools. The 2 largest pools which are perfect for learning/teaching scuba diving are heated and enable us to offer year-around scuba classes.
The big outside pool, which will be mainly used by Athens Scuba offers a shallow walking-in area, a large area that is 5ft deep and a 10ft deep area. The pool is heated all year around to 83 degrees. These features and the amazing staff at Oconee Aquatics and Recreation make this a fabulous scuba teaching spot and THE HOME OF ATHENS SCUBA.
