SUMMARY:Florida Springs Trip
DESCRIPTION:We have planned a trip to the Florida Springs from January 5th to 7th. Sample picture of Blue GrottoFor convenience reasons we are staying at the Blue Grotto Dive resort in Williston.  The resort features simple cabins\, with AC/heat\, and private bathrooms for each room.  The price includes the bunk option.  Double bed and cabins with a kitchen can be booked for a small extra fee.  The main reason we prefer this option is\, that we are right at the dive site and save hours of driving over the weekend\, compared to the next closer option that would be in Gainesville\, FL. The Florida Springs trip is everyone’s favorite weekend getaway in the winter.\n\nThe water is always 72 degrees and crystal clear. \n\nThis trip is available to Students for their open water checkout dives.\n\nIt’s also great for divers who didn’t dive for a while and want to get back into it.\n\nIt’s perfect for the diver that wants to keep up the skills and comfort level over the winter month.\n\nThis is a great beginner diver trip with easy diving at springs like Devil’s Den\, Rainbow River\, Blue Grotto or Ginnie Springs.Sample picture of Ginnie Springs with crystal clear waterItinerary: Friday – Drive to Florida and check into cabins at the Blue Grotto Dive Resort\n\nSaturday – Dive at a spring in the AM (2 Open Water check out dives)\, Lunch\, dive Rainbow River in the afternoon\, Night Dive for certified divers at Blue Grotto\n\nSunday – Dive at a spring in the AM (2 Open Water check out dives)\, drive homeThe 3 Day Package includes: a 4 tank dive trip over two days\, that includes a night dive for all certified divers\, that we can count for a future Advanced Open Water certification\n\nall dive fees\n\nstate park fees\n\ntanks and weights\n\n2 nights at the Blue Grotto Dive resort in Williston Florida on double occupancy basisThere is a grocery store only 5 minutes away\, if we are in need of anything. DESCRIPTION:We have planned an amazing trip to the Caribbean island Dominica. WHERE ARE WE GOING? We are going to Dominica for a group scuba trip! A week on one of the most beautiful  islands in the whole Caribbean\, where barefoot luxury pairs with nature’s unequaled power to amaze\, Dominica is the Caribbean’s best kept secret. The former British island with it’s splendid nature and beautiful scuba diving will offer lot’s to discover under water and on land.  WHY Dominica? Dominica is most known for its deep waters and lush landscape\, but what makes Dominica stand out among other locations is its deep rooted cultural history and preserved sites.  Naming the island ‘Waitukubuli’—meaning “tall is her body”—to reflect the mountainous and elegant fertile land.  Dominica remains unspoilt by the impacts of mass tourism and offers an ethical\, environmentally supportive option for travelers.  Embraced by lush foliage and secluded beaches throughout\, the island fosters one’s most dream-like fascinations.  THE DIVING As one of the top ten diving destinations in the world\, Dominica has so much to offer divers of any experience level.  There are calm shallows to explore\, where curious seahorses cling to coral branches. Deeper waters make home for over 20 species of whales that frequent these seas. Fantastic wall dives and unique crevices are waiting to be explore.  La Sorciere\, also known as L’Abym\, is one of the most popular wall dives\, where divers can peruse easily\, as there is little to no current.  Make your way along the volcanic ridge of Crater’s Edge\, where barracuda stalk their prey and large schools of tuna and snapper make appearances. Thermal springs erupt around the island\, including underwater where volcanic bubbles and warm water emanate from certain sites. We’ll have five days of two-tank dives daily and unlimited shore diving from the hotels own dock (if our group has ten or more divers).  This should offer plenty of diving for everyone!
