The Hotel We will spend 7 nights at the Volivoli Beach Resort.  What started as a backpackers lodge in 2005 has evolved into the award-winning\, four-star boutique resort Volivoli is today. As time has gone by the Resort has gone from strength to strength\, growing into what is known today as Fijis Premier Dive Resort. With over 100 staff from the local villages and community working  at the resort\, many have  been with the resort from the beginning. Curacao lies below the hurricane belt and is world renowned for some of the best diving in the Caribbean. the unique position of the island creates an ideal environment for marine life to thrive. With most of the dive sites located on the southern coast\, Ocean Encounters\, the dive shop co-located with our resort\, is perfectly situated to visit a number of these sites during our week on the island  Curacao is the largest of the ABC Islands (Aruba\, Bonaire and Curacao) and is home to some of the most bio-diverse reefs in the Caribbean. The sheltered southern coast is rich in coral\, and suitable for divers of all levels\, with little in the way of adverse conditions at any of the popular dive sites. Divers never seem to be able to stop talking about the beauty of scuba diving Curacao! THE DIVING We will be diving with Ocean Encounters. Their team of passionate\, professional divers thrives on the thrill of exploring the depths. As Curaçao’s premier Dive Center\, they live and breathe diving—literally! The main reason we prefer this option is\, that we are right at the dive site and save hours of driving over the weekend\, compared to the next closer option that would be in Gainesville\, FL. Little Cayman Beach Resort\, with the Reef Divers dive operation\, has been a staple of Caribbean scuba diving for a long time\, and we finally found the best time to visit! THE DIVING Little Cayman is famous for its Wall diving\, especially Bloody Bay Wall. The main reason we prefer this option is\, that we are right at the dive site and save hours of driving over the weekend\, compared to the next closer option that would be in Gainesville\, FL.
